I am off on holiday for two weeks. If I can update the site I will, otherwise, you’ll hear back from me in a couple of weeks!

I got back home to find that the Dow had already crashed over 200 points! I feel a bit annoyed to have missed so much of the action but there is no way that I can trade at work… the markets are so volatile that you really need to be around to watch what is happening and get out should things turned nasty.

Anyway, I did managed to enter a short at 10422 and got out at 10404 for +18. As the market approached the previous low and round number at 10400, I didn’t want to take a chance on my money so I took profit. The market fell a further 50 points though since it broke this level.

I also make a couple of trades on the Dow for a total of +17. The first trade was a short from 11642 and I took profit at 11634. The second trade was a long 11636 and I closed out at 11645.
