World Stock Markets and Betfair
Hi all, sorry it’s been a while since I’ve updated the site, I’ve been away on business in Cape Town for a week and I’ve had no time to look at the markets or anything else for that matter. However, there has been a lot of interesting news in the World Stock Markets with record falls and then record gains.. it really has been a rollercoaster ride and I wish that I could have been in the UK sitting in front of my machine to see all the action and even put on a trade or two! In the UK, they have put a block on shorting UK banking stocks until January and as a result, the UK stock market made the biggest one day gain ever putting on £130 billion!! I’ve never a 400 point movement on the FTSE in 1 day.. I wish I was there to see it!
Anyway, I got back on Friday and just spent the whole day knackered and tired and did absolutely nothing. On Saturday, I thought I’d go and play with Betfair again, using my strategy I’d been playing and again, I had a winning day, putting on almost 7% on my account.
