I had spotted that the Dow Jones had made a double top and I shorted it as it retraced and headed downwards at 12720. At this time I was thinking that this could be a nice longer term trade as I anticipated seeing the Dow decline over the coming weeks and possibly months.
I knew that there was support at the 12650 level and if it were a daytrade, this would have been a good place to take profits and take 70 points.. not a bad days work. However, when it bounced, and started to eat into my pro

There seems to be a trade every couple of days so far with the DDFX system and I took two more over the last couple of days with the EURUSD pair. I got stopped out for my last trade on EURJPY for a 40 pip loss and thought perhaps EURJPY was not a good pair to trade using DDFX, time will tell.
Anyway, there was the entry on the 18th where I went long after seeing two arrows and the trene bars were all pointing towards a move higher so I entered. However, I got stopped out for a 34 pop loss

Hi All,
I can confirm that the DDFX trading system has not yet repainted which I am happy about.
Well, I traded EURJPY as it gave a long signal but overnight, there was a horrid dropped which took out my stop and almost immediately resume the upward trend. I took a 40 pip loss which isn't nice. The stop is at just below the signal bar which is where I entered. It's a bit unfortunate as the market is clearly moving upwards and sometimes freak movements like this do happen.
