Happy New Year! Well, it's back to trading and I've spent quite a bit of time over the Xmas period looking over the blog and what I've been in 2011. I've reviewed my trades (that's the great thing about having the blog - it also serves as my own trading journal) and asked myself what I liked about my trading and what I didn't and how can I improve going into 2012. A lot of us getting into trading we buy or seek other trading strategies and most of the time find that they don't work for us.

I haven't posted for a wee while and the reason being was that my mind was completely preoccupied with some other things of which I won't bore you with. I have thought about my trading however and have been frustrated how difficult it just is. I have been attempting to trade the markets for what seems like ages yet still, I don't seem any closer to cracking it. Keeping track of your trading progress – Tradelogger

I just found a free program which allows you to keep a trading journal for free. I've been looking for something like this and it looks great. However, I have just tried to import a spreadsheet of some of my earlier trades on a trading account and it failed... but then again, I didn't read the instructions all that carefully.
